WARNING: NYC DOB is very clear, there is NO GRACE PERIOD. Once your card expires, you cannot work.

SST Worker Refresher – You must complete 8 hours

• 4 hours Fall Prevention
• 2 hours Toolbox Talks
• 2 hours Pre – Task Safety Meeting

SST Supervisor Refresher – You must complete 16 hours

• Same as worker
• 8 hours Site Safety Manager Refresher/Chapter 33 Review

Take these classes WELL BEFORE YOUR EXPIRATION DATE ON YOUR SST CARD BUT NOT MORE THEN 12 MONTHS.

There are alot of details in the time frames and paths but the easiest way for 99.99% of members is to take the following classes in the same week.

IF YOU DO NOT REFRESH PRIOR to your expiration date, you will start your 40 to 62 hours of training over. This is not MTTF’s Policy but NYC DOB’s Policy.
